Legoland Discovery center is a treat for Lego lovers and amusement lovers alike. Even if kids don't spend much time building stuff, they still have plenty of entertainment from lazer maze to train ride, 3D movie, soft play area in form of a pirate ship, a mini land displaying bay area made from tiny Legos by the Lego builder. It houses a cafe inside with several snack options and didn't find it too expensive. Visit to the Discovery center was fun during their brick and treat (Halloween event) where they offered kids with a gift pack to build their own Lego pumpkin, then bracelets made of Lego dots as well as tattoos and lolly pop. Would recommend. Visit to Legoland Discovery center comes free with Legoland Elite Season pass. They also have a birthday party hall.

My 3.5 y/o had a wonderful time. He was entertained for 2.5 hours! This is rare. We went on a weekday so I think that made a huge difference because it wasn’t crowded. Staff are very friendly!

An awesome location to bring kids, lots of hands-on stations for building anything that you can imagine. The little buggy ride is nice with the effects and wand to score points, the 4D theater is wonderful especially the water splashing scenarios. Keep in mind that this is a pretty small location so it’s not a whole day event but more of a 2 to 4 hour play site, there is a little food shop with snacks and lunch as well as other small entertainment events. The best and most entertaining part would be the giant lego structure of San Francisco, Oakland, Cupertino, and the surrounding cities with lights, sounds, and even a day & night climate change with a fireworks scene, all in all it’s a must see for the lego fan but once again it’s really for very small children.

Pretty cool place. Kids would definitely enjoy. Been here for a private event. They organized a lego tutorial for kids to build a small spacecraft. The artifacts were really good.

Excellent place for kids and they want to go again and again. VR Experience is amazing. All 3 movies with 4D effects are amazing. All in all .... LOVED IT. thank you Legoland discovery center bay area.

Paying extra for VR was a cool experience, however, there is a height requirement which we did not know about in advance; therefore only one child and parent went as the other had to stay behind with the child who did not meet the height requirement. Be alert for Motion Sickness during the VR. No Reentry allowed, so be ready to spend money at the LEGO food café. The 4D cinema is a must. No matter how your day is spent here, the children will have a memorable experience and you'll save the hard ache of driving down the LEGO land until you are ready.

My son was so excited by the building opportunities that he completely looked past the awesome rides and attractions. Good for those with kids who are always packing bricks
